Cardinals vs. Brewers Best Bets
Wednesday, September 28, 2022 - 7:40PM ET
PICK: Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 (+150)
PICK: Willy Adames Over 1.5 Total Bases (+145)
The Milwaukee Brewers conclude their short 2 game series with the St. Louis Cardinals tonight at American Family Field and we suggest you jump on our exclusive BetMGM offer ➡️ here ⬅️, where you get $20 free and a risk-free bet up to $1,000 if you're a new customer.
The Cards took Game 1 by a 6-2 score and clinched the National League Central while doing so. St. Louis is locked into the 3rd seed in the National league and has nothing left to play for.
They could rest many of their regulars tonight and even if they don't, they can be a natural let down after clinching the division. The Brewers remain 1.5 games behind Philadelphia in the Wild Card Race as the Phillies also lost.
Milwaukee will send Brandon Woodruff to the mound tonight, who is 12-4 on the season with a 3.18 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP. Woodruff has really turned it on after the All-Star break as he is 5-1 with a 2.52 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP.
At home this season, he has been even better. In 11 home starts, Woodruff is 7-0 with a 2.16 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP. Woodruff has 2 starts against the Cards this season, going 1-1 with a 2.00 ERA and a 0.78 WHIP.
St. Louis will counter with Jose Quintana, who is also having a fine season. Jose is 6-6 with a 3.03 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. He has faced Milwaukee twice, with two no decisions, and has a 4.82 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP.
Milwaukee slugger WIlly Adames has had success against Quintana as he is 4/7 lifetime with 2 Doubles and a HR. He has hit his Total Bases prop in 50% of his home games this year, including 13 of his last 18.
I usually shy away from Run Lines but I see a great deal of value in this one tonight, especially if the Cards sit some of their regulars.
Milwaukee needs this game and I am banking on Adames and company to come through, so bet Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 (+150) and Willy Adames Over 1.5 Total Bases (+145) with BetMGM ➡️ here ⬅️ and claim an awesome new customer bonus while you're at it.
