Rockies vs. Cardinals Best Bets

Thursday, August 18, 2022 - 1:15PM ET

PICK: St. Louis Cardinals Team Total Over 4.5 (-107)

The St. Louis Cardinals look for the sweep as they conclude their 3 game series with the Colorado Rockies today at Busch Stadium. That makes this a good time to claim our exclusive BetMGM get $20 free + a risk-free bet up to $1,000 offer, just for signing up with their world-class sportsbook. You can find that offer ➡️ here ⬅️.

The Cards took the first two games of this series by scores of 5-4 and 5-1. I think 5 is a number they can achieve again as the Rockies will send Antonio Senzatela to the mound for the finale.

The Colorado right hander is 3-6 on the season with a 4.67 ERA and a 1.65 WHIP with an oBA of .343. On the road he is 0-4 with a 5.50 ERA and a 1.62 WHIP.

Behind him is a bullpen that has a 5.36 ERA over the last 30 days, which is 2nd highest in the majors.

The Cardinals offense is hot as they are averaging 5.72 runs per game over their last 10 and they are averaging 5.9 runs per game at home this season.

I like the St. Louis bats to take it to Senzatela and the Colorado bullpen today.
