PICK: Alek Manoah 7+ K's & Toronto To Win (+140)
The Blue Jays continue their four-game series with the Tigers tonight and we think this is a good game to use when claiming a free $200 from BetMGM.
The Jays took the first game in this series with a 5-3 victory on Thursday. Toronto will now turn to ace Alek Manoah in Game 2. The right-handed stud is 11-4 on the season, with a 2.24 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and an OBA of .210.
At home, Manoah is 6-1 with a 2.10 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and an OBA of .189. The Tigers also happen to be a fabulous strikeout target for right-handed pitchers, as they have the sixth-highest strikeout rate in the league against righties this season (and over the last 30 days).
Manaoh has made one career start against Detroit, which came last season, and he struck out eight Tigers in that one. With that said, it isn't hard to see him racking up K's tonight.
As for the Jays bats, they will face Detroit righty Bryan Garcia, who will be making his first start of the season. In 72 career appearances, Garcia has a 6.12 ERA and a 1.70 WHIP. He'll be facing the top scoring offense in baseball since the All-Star Break, as the Jays are averaging 9.3 runs per game in their six games since then.
I like the value of this player performance double tonight, as Manoah and the Jays offense should dominate tonight. And like I said earlier, you can get a free $200 in bonuses from BetMGM ➡️ here ⬅️, so click that link if you're with me on Toronto.
