Avalanche vs. Wild Best Bets
Tuesday, October 17, 2022 - 8:00PM ET
PICK: Colorado Avalanche at Minnesota Wild Over 6.5 (-110)
PICK: Kirill Kaprizov Over 3.5 SOG (+115)
The Colorado Avalanche visit the Minnesota Wild in a Central Division tilt tonight at Xcel Energy Center. To celebrate, BetMGM will give new users $200 when they register an account ➡️ here ⬅️. Then, simply place a $10 money line bet on any team, and score $200 as soon as there's a goal.
The Avs are 1-1 to start the season as they defeated Chicago in their opener 5-2, and then dropped a decision in Calgary to the Flames 5-3.
The Wild are off to an 0-2 start as they have suffered 2 home losses, 7-3 to the Rangers and 7-6 to the Kings. Marc-Andre Fleury started both games and was pulled on Saturday night against Los Angeles.
Flower has a .776 save percentage and a 8.37 goals against average. If he sits tonight Filip Gustavsson would get the start. Alexander Georgiev is probable to start for the Avalanche, who won his only start of the season.
The Under was only 1-3 between these teams last season, so I am going to back to over tonight as both teams feature plenty of firepower.
The Wild will look to push the pace, especially early, to which the Avs have plenty of horses to respond. The Wild were one of the best Over teams in the league last season and that has held true thus far this year.
Both of these teams have hot Power Plays in the early going as the Avs are 5/10 on the man advantage and the Wild are 4/10.
I am also going to back super star Kiril Kaprizov to eclipse 3.5 shots on goal tonight. Kirill has 4 shots in each of his first two games this season.
He hit this mark in 2 of 4 against the Avs last season and 28/43 home games, including the playoffs.
Expect plenty of fireworks tonight in St. Paul, so bet Colorado Avalanche at Minnesota Wild Over 6.5 (-110) and Kirill Kaprizov Over 3.5 SOG (+115) with BetMGM.
