The Flyers, under new coach John Tortorella, are 5-2-2 on the season and have gotten excellent goaltending. Philly is on a back to back as they are coming off a 1-0 Overtime loss to the Rangers at MSG last night.

I am not backing a side/total in this game, but instead I will look to a player prop from each side that correlates with each other.Let's start with Maple Leaf defenseman Morgan Reilly, who has a nice matchup tonight.
He faces a Flyers team that is allowing 35.5 shots per game this season on the road, with 11 shots per game going to defensemen. Reilly tends to shoot the puck more at home where he has hit this mark in 3 of 4 home games this season. He has totaled 12 shots (3 per game average) on 17 attempts in those games.
This is a far contrast to his road numbers this season where he has totaled 5 shots in 6 games.Next is Flyers goalie Felix Sandstrom. Carter Hart started last night so expect Torts to go to the rookie Sandstrom tonight. Sandstrom has 7 career NHL starts and has made 30 or more saves in 5 of those starts.
I mentioned above the amount of shots the Flyers give up on the road (as they do at home) but what is more interesting is the Leafs' tendency to shoot the puck more on home ice.
Toronto is averaging 35.5 shots per game at home this season but only 28.7 on the road. They have played 2 fewer home games but that is still a big variance. Add this to the fact that the Leafs are looking to break a losing streak.
