The San Jose Sharks return from their Prague trip to open their home season tonight as they host the Carolina Hurricanes at the SAP center. After 11 seasons as a Shark, Brent Burns will make his return to San Jose. Burns is still one of the premier offensive defenseman in the league and he will fit in perfectly with this Carolina team.
Burns fired 6 shots on net in the opener on a ridiculous 13 attempts. Burns will want to continue to put pucks on net as he faces his former team.
