The Toronto Maple Leafs visit the Dallas Stars tonight as they conclude their quick 2 game road trip.
The Leafs are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss in Tampa on Saturday night. Toronto has collected points in 11 straight games and they own an 8-0-3 record during that span.
One of the reasons is the recent play of Mitch Marner, who has scored goals in 5 straight games and is off a 2 goal performance in Tampa.
Marner has seen an uptick in shots lately as over his last 4 games he is averaging 4.7 shots on goal on 8.2 attempts, clearing 3 + SOG in each of those games.
