Kings vs. Canucks Best Bets

PICK: Kings at Canucks Over 6 (-130)

PICK: Kings at Canucks 1st Period Over 2 (+135)

Friday nights are usually light on the NHL schedule but the only game on the slate is the Los Angeles Kings visiting the Vancouver Canucks.

LA is in the midst of a 4 game road trip as they have split the first 2 games. Most recently they defeated the Oilers 3-1, in Edmonton.

The Kings are 11-7-1 on the season, 2nd in the Pacific. Newcomer Kevin Fiala has made an impact offensively as he leads the team with 18 points. The Kings are averaging 3.5 goals per game on the road this season, which is 8th best.

Los Angeles is allowing 3.8 goals per game on the road, which is 7th most. Overs are 7-2-1 in their road games this season. The Canucks have been a dumpster fire this season.

The team had high expectations as they finished the season on a nice run under Bruce Boudreau. Vancouver is home after a 5 game road trip in which they went 2-3.

At home this season, the Canucks are averaging 3.5 goals per game, which is 10th in the league, and they are allowing 3.7 goals per game, which is 6th most.

The story has been their Penalty Kill. Vancouver's PK is dead last in the league at 63%. At home it is an even worse 58%. Overs in their home games are 3-3 this season.

I'll back the over tonight but I am buying down to 6 and paying a little more juice aside from taking a 6.5.I am also adding the 1st Period over.

The Canucks are 15-1 to the 1st period over this season (I tweet a report out daily) and 5-1 at home.

I am not interested in laying juice on the 1.5 so I'll bump the number to 2 at plus money. Bet Kings at Canucks Over 6 (-130) and Kings at Canucks 1st Period Over 2 (+135) with BetMGM.
