He gives up an average of 11.06 runs and on top of all that, he has a dismal record of 2-12. This could get ugly.

Tylor Megill has been flying under the radar, but looking into his pitching stats for the year and you can make a case that the Mets are well positioned to open up their series against Miami with a resounding victory.
Sandy Alcantara is the current listed pitcher for Miami who is having a so-so season, sporting a 6-9 starting record. Megill on the other hand only has a 1-0 starting record to his name, but the Mets are 6-1 in all games that he has appeared in. A 2.04 ERA from more than 35 innings pitched is nothing to sneeze at, either. It's been a while since the Mets actually tore apart a line up, but we like it to happen here.

Pirates vs. Brewers

The league's worst offense comes up against the best defense, and given Milwaukee's hot form, it's hard to see anything else but pure domination as the Brewers open up their midweek series against the Pirates at home.
Eric Lauer will be the starting pitcher for the Brewers, and his left-handed throwing will cause issues for Pittsburgh who have had even more trouble scoring against lefties than right-handers. Having won seven of their last ten, this looks like an easy one for Milwaukee.
