NBA projections today for every player
Our NBA player projections table shows a player-by-player view of expected production across the current NBA slate. Each row includes projected points, rebounds, assists, 3-pointers made, blocks, steals, turnovers, combined stats such as PRA, and a DFS fantasy score. The table covers all 30 NBA teams, so you can compare players across matchups.
Use the search and table controls to narrow the list by player, team, or date, then sort by the stat you want to research. You can also download the table as a CSV for spreadsheet work or lineup-building tools.
NBA player projections tonight
Our NBA player projections are updated daily and refreshed through the day for availability. Updates can become more important as tip-off approaches, when injury reports or late lineup news affect expected minutes and player output.
That cadence means the forecast can change between an earlier check and a later update as player availability changes. Before using a projection for tonight's games, check the latest injury report and any confirmed availability news.
NBA player projections stat key
These NBA stat projections show the expected output for each listed category.
- PTS (Points): Total points the player is projected to score.
- REB (Rebounds): Total rebounds, including offensive and defensive boards.
- AST (Assists): Projected total assists.
- 3PM (3-Pointers Made): Projected number of made three-point shots.
- BLK (Blocks): Projected number of shots the player will block.
- STL (Steals): Estimated number of steals when a player takes the ball from an opponent.
- TO (Turnovers): Projected times a player will lose possession.
- PRA (Points + Rebounds + Assists): Combined projection of points, rebounds, and assists.
- PR (Points + Rebounds): Combined projection of points and rebounds.
- PA (Points + Assists): Combined projection of points and assists.
- DFS (Daily Fantasy Score): Projected fantasy score based on standard DFS scoring rules.
- FB (First Basket): Projected chance of the player scoring the game's first basket.
NBA DFS projections and fantasy basketball
Use our NBA daily fantasy projections to compare expected fantasy production across the slate. The DFS number translates the underlying stat projections into a fantasy score, giving you one way to compare players whose production comes from different combinations of points, rebounds, assists, defensive stats, and turnovers.
For example, if a player has a projected fantasy score of 40.0 and a salary of $8,000, the labeled calculation is 40.0 projected fantasy points ÷ $8,000 = 5.0 projected points per $1,000 of salary. This is simply a calculation example. The projections table does not claim to provide salary or ownership projections.
For season-long fantasy basketball, use the underlying stat columns when comparing players with different roles or matchups. You can also export the projections to CSV and load them into an optimizer or spreadsheet workflow.
How our model builds NBA player projections
Our NBA player projections come from our pre-match machine learning model, which projects each player's stat line for every upcoming game.
The model is built in-house and uses five approved inputs:
- Rolling player averages: Recent and longer-term player production used as a baseline for the projection.
- Projected minutes: Expected playing time for the upcoming game.
- Positional matchups: The player's expected matchup by position.
- Home court advantage: Whether the upcoming game is played at home or on the road.
- Confirmed availability: A player's confirmed availability is considered when projecting expected performance and statistical output.
The model is updated daily and refreshed through the day for availability.
NBA minutes projections and injury news
Projected minutes are an important input into a player's expected statistical output. When an injury removes a player from a lineup, changes in expected minutes and role can affect the projected production of other players.
For example, when a starting point guard is ruled out, another ball handler may receive more expected playing time or a different projected statistical role.
That is why NBA projected minutes should be considered alongside matchup and confirmed availability. We recommend checking our NBA News for late injury updates before relying on an earlier projection.
Using NBA player prop projections against the line
A simple way to research a player prop is to compare the model's projection with the sportsbook's posted line. The gap between the two numbers tells you how far the projection is above or below the market line.
For example, a projection of 27.0 points against a 25.5-point line creates a 1.5-point projection-to-line gap. That gap is a research signal, not a probability or guarantee of the result. A projection estimates an expected outcome; it does not mean the player has a corresponding percentage chance of going over.
For context, American odds of -110 imply a break-even probability of 52.4% before accounting for the sportsbook's margin. Compare the model output with the available line and price rather than treating the projection itself as a probability.

Your Questions Answered
How often are NBA player projections updated?
Daily. NBA player projections are refreshed through the day for availability. Check the latest projection as tip-off approaches; when confirmed availability or late lineup news comes, expected minutes and statistical output may change.
When are tonight's NBA player projections posted?
Tonight's projections are posted ahead of the day's games and refreshed through the day as availability information changes. Check back closer to tip-off for the latest updates that could affect a player's expected minutes and output.
Can I use NBA player projections for player props?
Yes, as one input. A projection gives you an expected statistical outcome, while a player prop has a sportsbook line and price. Comparing the two can show the gap between the model projection and the posted line, but that gap is not itself a probability. For prop research, see our Best NBA Player Props Today.
Which DFS scoring do the fantasy projections use?
The fantasy projections use the scoring rules associated with the DFS format shown in the projections table. You can also load the downloaded CSV into an optimizer or spreadsheet to combine the projected fantasy score with your own lineup-building process.
What is a PRA projection?
A PRA projection is an estimate of a player's combined points, rebounds, and assists. For example, a projection of 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists produces a 38.0 PRA projection: 24 + 8 + 6 = 38.
Are Dimers' NBA player projections free?
Three players are free each day. The full board of NBA player projections is reserved for Dimers Pro members.
How accurate are Dimers' NBA player projections?
A projection is an expected value, not a prediction of an exact stat line. Individual players will regularly finish above or below their projection in a single game.
Projections are best evaluated across larger samples rather than on one game. Dimers' models are built and tested in-house and use the same underlying methodology across the players and stat categories covered by the table.
Can I download NBA player projections as a CSV?
Yes. Dimers Pro members can download the NBA player projections as a CSV. The file can be used for spreadsheet analysis and, where supported by your workflow, loaded into an optimizer to build DFS lineups.
