Greinke vs. Wood are ya kidding me?! We're in for a really, really good one this evening when two heavyweights of the MLB go head-to-head with two pitchers are just about even when it comes to their season stats.
While Zack Greinke is sporting a nice 3.48 ERA, the sheer nature of the high scoring Astros puts his Over/Under record at 13-8 in games he's pitched in. Alex Wood, who has been a revelation for the Giants this season, has an ERA of 3.65 and an Over/Under record of 9-8. The stars are aligning for the offenses to take command of this one, but the pitching battle will be fascinating nonetheless.

John Means will be taking the mound for the O's for the second time since returning from a long layoff from injury, and if his return game on July 25 is any indication, he's still got some rust to work off. The Baltimore pitcher, who had a no-hitter earlier in the year, gave up four runs from 6.2 innings pitched against the Nats last week, which isn't terrible, but it isn't the type of quality we're used to seeing.
In addition to this, Detroit like facing left-handed pitching. They are averaging 5 runs per game against lefties this season, a figure that is even higher (5.34) over their last ten games. Pair this with the Tigers' pitcher, Matt Manning, who has an ERA of 6.00, and this looks good for an Over.
