Pirates vs. Cardinals

It always take a brave person to bet on the Pirates because you never quite know what you're going to get, but their form this weekend against a very good Cardinals team has been impressive with two wins from two. They'll be looking to sweep the series today with Steven Brault who is operating on a 1.84 ERA from 19 innings pitched this season. He hasn't been able to get a team win in any of the three starts he's made in August, but he gives Pittsburgh a great chance to keep things close with some efficient pitching. If the Pirates can get runs on the board early, the runline play will be a nice cushion at some tasty odds.

Mariners vs. Astros
BET: Total runs OVER 8.5 with PointsBet (-120)

You betcha were going back to the well for this one! The Astros have slammed a total of 27 runs on the Mariners in two games this weekend and look in frightening hitting form as they look to do it again on Sunday.
Seattle have been well held, but they're capable of putting up runs themselves. The 8.5-total here is way too low for our liking given the potential for this one to hit double-digits early.

Nationals vs. Brewers
BET: Brewers at the run line with PointsBet (-110)

Milwaukee were able to get back on the winner's list after a Friday slip up to Washington in their weekend opener, and they're looking good to keep it rolling into Sunday to continue their hot form that has seen them win in eight of their last ten games.
The Nats have problems in their pitching rotation and are sending out Sean Nolin to the bump for this one for his second Major League appearance in six years following his last start loss against the Mets on August 12. In that game, Nolin gave up four runs and eight hits in just three innings pitched. Milwaukee have got a golden opportunity to get off to a flying start here that may prove to be too much for Washington to reel in.
