Both the A's and Tigers have been way, way down on output lately, averaging 3.14 and 2.15 runs per game respectively over their last five. It's especially depressing for Detroit, who are on a three-game skid, as they'll be facing starting A's pitcher, the left handed Cole Irvin. The Tigers average an even worse 1.40 runs per nine innings when facing lefties over the same time period. Oh yeah, this one is going Under.

Rockies vs. Rangers

These two opened up their midweek series last night that, for these two teams, finished uncharacteristically under the run total. That means we have to smash the Over tonight.
The pitching matchup is well and truly in our favor with Austin Gomber (4.38 ERA) and Jordan Lyles (5.70) getting us started on Tuesday. We're expecting fireworks with both teams averaging well above five runs per game over their last ten outings. Last night was just an aberration.

Yankees vs. Angels

The Yankees are officially on a losing streak. In a true display of just how quickly things can change in the Majors, New York have gone from serious contenders for the World Series to also-rans, having dropped each of their last three games. After their loss last night to the Angels, they have to battle Shohei Ohtani on the mound for LA, while sending out Jameson Taillon to pitch. Taillon gave up five runs in just two innings against the A's a few days ago and it looks to be a developing trend with a 7.07 ERA over his last three games.
Ohtani is a dominant pitcher, but he's also got an ordinary defense behind him who rank fifth-worst in the league for runs conceded at 5.18 per game. We've got the Over here.
