As it turns out, not a lot has changed for the Nets as they begin the new season. They're really good at scoring, and they're really awful at defending. While it's an obvious small sample size for this season, we know enough about Brooklyn's defensive woes to know their fourth-worst points per game ranking will most likely hold up throughout the rest of this year. They've given up 118 points per contest through two games while Charlotte have shown that they can run and gun with the best of them, putting up 123 points in each of their opening two games against the Pacers and Cavs respectively. Every single thing about this game points to the Over.

Magic vs. Knicks, 7:00PM (EDT)

BET: Total points OVER 214.5 (Best odds -110)

There's no sugarcoating it: this is going to be a very long and painful year for Orlando fans. They've been creamed in their first two games of the year by 20+ each time, including a Friday loss against this very Knicks team that they face again tonight. New York have looked okay but still need to figure some things out if they're going to be a real top-4 seed in the East. For now, though, they've shown that they can put up points, scoring a league-best 129.5 points per contest. Another hefty total against a very, very bad defense will be enough for see bettors cash this ticket.

76ers vs. Thunder, 7:00PM (EDT)

BET: Sixers -8.5 (Best odds -110)

This Oklahoma City team is already making a mockery of the league with their tanking just two games into the season. They've lost both games by 30+ points, which included a bad loss to a Houston roster that is just as depleted for talent as they are. Joel Embiid will be a game time decision with knee soreness and given the opposition, he may very well rest. However, the remaining players on this Philly team should pick apart OKC with ease.
