Angels vs. Indians

BEST BET: Total runs UNDER 9.5 with PointsBet (-122)

There's no sugarcoating things for LA this weekend - they've been humbled by the Indians who have exposed one of the league's worst run defenses with 14 runs to 2 over the two games of the series thus far. But these two teams are far too even for the Angels not to make things competitive in Williamsport, and they've got an intriguing pitching matchup on the cards with Jose Suarez taking on Cal Quantrill for the Indians. While enduring a last-start loss against the rampaging Yankees, Suarez at least kept New York in check, giving up only two runs last Monday.

While Suarez looks good to keep things tight in the opening inning, so is Quantrill and the Indians. The Under is a mind-boggling 7-0 in his last seven starts, with an ERA of 3.24. Adding fuel to the fire, the Angels are downright sucking against right-handers right now, averaging just 3.73 runs per nine innings against righties over their last five games, compared with 8.56 against left-handers.

We know it's the Little League Classic and the guys will be out there wanting to put on a show, hence the high run total set by the books, but the numbers looks far too compelling to do anything other than bet the Under.
