How will Saquon Barkley perform facing his former team on Thursday Night Football?

It's Week 6 in the NFL and we're kicking things off with another Primetime Parlay built with the Dimers model for tonight's Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants Thursday Night Football matchup on October 9, 2025.

This is our biggest NFL season yet on Dimers, with the launch of our brand-new NFL Player Projections Hub, complete with boxscores and fantasy projections, our improved NFL models and the rollout of our new Dimers Sports Betting Podcast.

To kick off Week 6, we're using our model's Thursday Night Football predictions to build a +375 SGP over on DraftKings Sportsbookwhere new users can claim a $200 bonus when they sign up.

Leg 1: Dallas Goedert Over 33.5 Receiving Yards

A normal game for Dallas Goedert typically sees him clear this mark without much trouble.

He’s had two unders and a hook this season — one where he caught a single pass for 33 yards and another where he saw nine targets but only hauled in three.

Despite some inconsistency, Goedert remains a major piece of the Eagles’ offense, with almost as many receptions as A.J. Brown in one fewer game and four touchdowns to his name.

The Dimers model projects him for 38.9 receiving yards, giving him a solid edge over the 33.5 line.

If you’re concerned about the hook, the 30+ alternate line will give you a lower benchmark at slightly worse odds.

Leg 2: Saquon Barkley Over 16.5 Receiving Yards

Saquon Barkley has seen at least three targets in all but one game this season and has caught all but two passes thrown his way through five games.

He’s gone under this number twice, but in his other three games, he’s posted receiving totals of 24, 31, and 58 yards — comfortably clearing the mark.

The Giants allow 4.8 receptions per game to running backs, and with their strong pass rush win rate (8th-best in the league), Barkley could see more dump-offs from QB Jalen Hurts in pressure situations.

He’s projected for 19.8 receiving yards tonight per the Dimers model, and while his receptions prop at 3+ has been slightly more consistent missing just once, our model projects him for 2.4 receptions, giving the yards prop the better fit, and just maybe he takes one to the house right away.

Leg 3: Saquon Barkley Anytime TD Scorer

Speaking of taking it to the house, Barkley is also the most likely player to score tonight, projected at 55.1%, even higher than Jalen Hurts, and we'll close out tonight's Primetime Parlay backing him to score against his former team.

He’s also sitting near 20% to score twice, with almost fair odds at +340 for 2+ touchdowns on DraftKings, showing his upside.

Barkley has found the end zone in all but one game this season, three times on the ground and once via the pass, and should have just a little extra motivation playing in his old house, making this play as straightforward as it gets.

Let's see if we can cash this one nice and early on Thursday Night Football!
