King of the Court Picks Today, Tuesday, March 24

Each week, we'll highlight some of Dimers' top-projected players, as well as some longshots as a sample of what users can find in the Dimers Pro NBA Projections Hub.

By showcasing a combination of top performances and some darkhorse candidates, bettors will find a mix of players to choose from.

Dimers' Highest-Projected PRA Totals

Nikola Jokic (Nuggets) | Projected: 52.3 PRA

Last week's projected leader is on top of the board once again, and by an even larger gap over the next player, at 14 PRA.

He racked up 29 PRA last week but played just 25 minutes in a blowout, which should not be the case against a Suns team desperate to make one last push out of the play-in standings.

We won't make a case against Jokic tonight, though his matchup isn't a cakewalk against a Suns defense that has a top defense vs. Centers over their L15 games, and have only given up one "King of the Court" worthy performance lately, a 54 PRA outing to Jaylen Brown, so he may have to work a little harder for his boards and assists tonight.

He's a Top 10 scorer in the NBA and ranks 1st in Rebounds and Assists so he's expected to be the most bet-on player for the promo.

Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers) | Projected: 38.2 PRA

Landing a distant second in the PRA projection is Donovan Mitchell of the Cavaliers when they take on the Orlando Magic.

Mitchell is having one of his quietest seasons as a superstar as far as narrative, but not on paper - he's the 7th-highest scorer in the NBA with his second-highest scoring average in his career at 28.0 PPG and ranks Top 25 in assists, also at his second-highest career mark and that's with James Harden in town.

What seems to be missing from his recent game log is one of those nuclear performances he's had in the past - earlier this season he dropped three 50+ PRA performances off the back of scoring nights of 43+ points or more. Since the calendar turned to 2026, he's got just one - it was against the Orlando Magic on January 26.

The game before that, he dropped 36/5/9 on the Magic, making his 25/5/5 game vs. Orlando seem quiet by comparison.

If he taps into the success he's had vs. the Magic before James Harden joined the Cavs, he should be in contention tonight.

Jalen Brunson (Knicks) | Projected: 36.7 PRA

Rounding out today's top 3 is Jalen Brunson vs. the Pelicans.

Brunson is scoring less down the stretch than he was earlier this season, but it's working as the Knicks are 7-3 over their L10 and closing in on Boston for the 2-seed.

He's had one 30-point game in March, but he's been close and a couple off-nights from three would have been the difference in turning in a 50+ PRA performance in several of those games.

He'll likely need a big scoring night as well, as the Pelicans have ranked Top 5in AST and REB to opposing guards over their L15 games, though Brunson's 7.1 AST projection is the fourth-highest of the night, so our model does see success in that regard.

It'll take a big effort, but Brunson is due for a big game and the Dimers model puts him as a Top 3 performer on Tuesday.

Dimers' Longshot Targets

We'll look just slightly down the board at two more players who land in our Top 10 overall with a chance to return a solid bonus bet.

LaMelo Ball (Hornets) | Projected: 36.5 PRA

We look at tonight's best matchup on paper for our first "longshot" play on LaMelo Ball when the Hornets take on the last-place Kings.

Ball came up 1 PRA shy of winning last week and splitting the pot with Jalen Duren, and that was two games after he dropped 30/6/5 on this Kings team.

It'll likely take more than 50 PRA tonight with Nikola Jokic projected to lead the way, but Ball has taken advantage of the basement matchups, dropping 52 PRA vs. the Wizards (who gave up three straight King of the Court winners) last month.

His assists projection of 8.1 is the third-highest in the slate and his 4.0 threes is the top mark of the night, which signals upside with the Kings ranking bottom-five in the NBA in those two categories both overall and vs. Guards, as well as points.

Ball is averaging over 4 threes per game in March.

Trey Murphy (Pelicans) | Projected  34.5 PRA

If you're looking for the deepest cut from today's picks, look no further than Trey Murphy vs. the Knicks,

Murphy has had some fantastic performances in his career-best season across the board, dropping three 40+ point games, and flashing 30-point upside with consistent and balances contributions in rebounds and assists.

He hasn't had a spectacular performance lately but could be in line for one tonight.

What really makes Murphy stand out is the Knicks' defensive ranking over their L15 games, specifically vs. Guards, at 27th vs. Points, 26th vs. Rebounds and 29th vs. Assists.

It would be Murphy's second King of the Court win after dropping 50 PRS vs. the Lakers and returning $1,300 in bonus bets.
