NBA Picks and Prop Bets today
Rudy Gobert leads today's betting trends with a prop that's hit in 10 of his last 12 games.

The NBA Cup is in the books and we're getting back to nothing but regular-season NBA play for the next four-plus months with our daily best NBA Bets, Player Prop Picks, NBA player projections and more.

Today, Wednesday, December 17, Dimers' NBA Trends reveal a number of valuable betting opportunities, and when comparing the data to our valuable NBA Player Projections Hub, we've identified four strong player prop trends supported by both historical performances and predictions from our data-backed NBA simulations.

These props can be played as solo bets or together for a +904 parlay at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Four NBA prop trends to bet on Wednesday, December 17

With just two games on tonight, we've identified four props featured in both our NBA Trends and supported by our projections in Cavaliers vs. Bulls and Timberwolves vs. Grizzlies, with two in each game.

Prop Bet: Rudy Gobert over 1.5 assists

Trend: 10 of last 12

The first trend we're looking at is Timberwolves big man Rudy Gobert to tally 2+ assists on Wednesday vs. the Grizzlies.

Gobert is expected back in the lineup after leaving Sunday's game early, and subsequently announcing the birth of his daughter.

The former DPOY doesn't stat pad assists, but he's been consistently dishing a handful on most nights, putting up seven games with 3+ assists in this same span.

The Dimers model projects him for 2.0  assists tonight against a Grizzlies team allowing the second-most AST to Centers this year with 5.35 per game this year and 5.89 over their past 15 games.

Prop Bet: Naz Reid over 2.5 assists

Trend: 10 of last 16

For our second trend, we're looking at another Timberwolves player to hit his assists line, one higher at 2.5, with Naz Reid.

Reid has hit this in 10 of his last 16, heavily weighted towards the past couple of weeks, where he's recorded 3+ in seven of his last nine games, including three games with at least six - he had no such games before December.

The Dimers model is riding the hot hand, projecting Reid for 3.1 assists as he draws the same favorable matchup as Gobert.

Prop Bet: Jaylon Tyson over 12.5 points

Trend: 9 of Last 13

Next up, we're projecting Cavs second-year player Jaylon Tyson to tally 14.1 points tonight, clearing 12.5 for the sixth time in seven games this month.

Filling in as a starter amidst injuries and performing off the bench when not in the starting five, Tyson has carved out a consistent and productive scoring role.

He's recorded 30+ minutes in seven-straight games, including two games off the bench, going under this number just once in that span. He also recorded 17 points in 31 minutes vs. the Bulls earlier this season.

Chicago owns a bottom-five scoring defense in the NBA and Tyson will look to keep producing as the Cavs look for some momentum.

Prop Bet: Kevin Huerter under 2.5 rebounds

Trend: 7 of Last 10

The final prop we're looking at is on Bulls bench player Kevin Huerter to go under 2.5 rebounds once again.

Huerter has seen his rebounding production dip since the early weeks of the season, where he tallied 3+ rebounds in 10 of his first 12 games.

Since his 8-rebound performance vs. the Jazz on November 16, Huerter has 3+ rebounds in just two of eight games and those all came in games in which his minutes spiked.

Huerter draws a projection of 2.2 rebounds tonight vs. the Cavaliers.

NBA Props Parlay Today

All backed by both recent trends and the Dimers projections, these NBA player prop bets can be played in a parlay for a bigger payout if all four hit.
