Will Victor Wembanyama lead the game in scoring on Saturday?

The NBA brings a six-game slate to the table on Saturday, February 21, packed with our best bets, and player props across Dimers.com, and we're breaking out the NBA Player Projections Hub to craft an NBA parlay at +520 odds on FanDuel.

Our projections provide outlooks for a player's points, rebounds, assists and more, but as we've shown with these overlooked markets, you can use that data in a variety of ways, such as betting on a player to lead their respective game in those same points, rebounds, or assists categories.

Instead of wondering whether a player will clear a line, you can sort our projections by any stat to identify who the model actually expects to finish atop each category in a given matchup. You can use this data to back the top-projected players to do just that, or sometimes the real value sits just behind the favorite on players projected at a similar mark, yet listed at much longer odds on the sportsbooks.

Using those projections, we’ve identified two players tonight who profile as strong candidates to finish as their game’s top overall scorer, with favorable odds compared to others in the same game.

Bet on these Points Leaders on Saturday

We're looking at two players tonight, both coming right from our Top 5 scorers of the night.

Bet: Victor Wembanyama Top Points Scorer in Spurs-Kings (+100)

First up is the young French superstar who is projected to lead his team and the whole game in tonight's Spurs vs. Kings clash in San Antonio.

The Dimers model projects Wemby for a big performance tonight at 25.4 points (5th-most of the night) and 11.4 rebounds (most) vs. the team with the worst record in the NBA. A blowout could make things less than interesting, but as he showed in his King of the Court-winning performance last week with 40 points in 25 minutes, it is *always* interesting when he is on the floor.

Besides his strong points projection by our model, it's the discrepancy over the others in this game that really stands out, with Wemby projected nearly 7 points higher than his next teammate, De'Aaron Fox who has cleared 20 points in just one of his past nine games, and 12 points higher than DeMar DeRozan, the highest on the Kings.

At +100 odds, Wembanyama doesn't seem unfairly priced compared to how he ranks on the projected scoreboard vs. the team with the worst-ranked defense over their past 15 games.

Bet: Kevin Durant Top Points Scorer in Rockets-Knicks (+210)

We move to the Rockets vs. Knicks where our model has the top-projected scorers neck-and-neck, but with a notable odds gap on the books.

Both Kevin Durant and Jalen Brunson are projected for 26.3 points by our model in tonight's game, making this matchup look like a coin flip, but you can get them at much better odds than 50/50, with Brunson at +135 and Durant at +210.

The model says you can't go wrong with who you pick here based on projections, but as we always lean towards the value, we'll officially go with Kevin Durant due to his better price.

Both stars turned in big-time performances in their first games back from the break with a line of 35/8/4 for Durant and 33/6/8 for Brunson, but it's the complementary stats by their teammates that may reveal a little edge on Durant.

Both Alperun Sengun and Amen Thompson are projected at nearly 10 points lower than Durant, but with top three assist numbers in this game, suggesting they'll facilitate points, potentially setting the table for KD to pace this game.
