PGA Golf Bets: Expert Picks, Best Odds, and Predictions for Butterfield Bermuda Championship 2025
FedExCup Fall heads to Port Royal Golf Course for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship and Dave Garofolo highlights the best value bets for this weekend's tournament using the Dimers model.

The Dimers golf model is HOT!
We cashed Ben Griffin to win the World Wide Technology Championship for our THIRD outright winner in FedExCup Fall.
We’re back with another week of PGA TOUR action and our best golf bets and PGA picks from the Dimers golf model as the TOUR heads to the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, from Thursday, November 13 through Sunday, November 16.
This week’s stop brings players to one of the most scenic and unpredictable venues on the PGA TOUR. A par-71 measuring just 6,828 yards, Port Royal features the shortest course in the TOUR’s annual rotation. However, sustained wind throughout the weekend and some long Par-3s will make it play longer than it looks.
As the only course that's hosted this event, success at Port Royal is all about precision and patience and rewards players with an edge in Approach, Putting and Driving Accuracy.
Rafael Campos returns as the defending champion, looking to repeat his 2024 victory and defend against a relatively light field that includes just two top-50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking (Michael Brennan and Sam Stevens). With valuable FedExCup points up for grabs for those on the Top 100 bubble, this week represents a golden opportunity for lesser-known players to lock up 2026 TOUR status ahead of next week’s RSM Classic season finale.

Hopefully you've tailed along this season or at least utilized our Dimers Pro PGA Predictions model which is on a hot run since the FedExCup Playoffs - most recently cashing +1400 Tommy Fleetwood winner at the TOUR Championship, hitting a Ben Griffin ladder and Scottie Scheffler win at the Procore Championship and predicting Xander Schauffele's win at +1100 at the Baycurrent classic, and again with Ben Griffin to win the World Wide Technology Championship.
Who Will Win the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship?
Below are the five most likely winners of the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course, the sixth and penultimate stop of the FedExCup Fall schedule.
These win predictions are the result of simulating the tournament over 10,000 times via our AI models, as well as each golfer's odds to finish Top 5, 10 and 20:
Matt Kuchar: Kuchar carries a win probability of 5.2% and top-10 of 30.2%. With an impressive FedExCup Fall run showing he still can contend, he’s a steady veteran pick who could surprise if he finds his groove.
Nico Echavarria: With a win probability of 4.5% and top-10 of 28.9%, Echavarria showed strong form recently finishing T14 at the WWT Championship and he’s trending upward as a big threat when his putter warms up.
Rico Hoey: Hoey enters with a win probability of 4.3% and top-10 at 28.6%. He's on a hot run, with a T9, T4, 2nd and T21 in FedExCup Fall, with just one missed cut.
Kevin Yu: Yu’s win probability is 4.1% with a top-10 of 27.1%. Despite a cut last week, he finished with three straight Top 20s in the Fall circuit.
Thorbjorn Olesen: Olesen has the lowest win probability among these five at 3.8% and a top-10 of 26.2%. However, he's also on a hot fall run with two T14s and a T3 in his past three.

Dimers' Butterfield Bermuda Championship Best Bets
We're looking at the golfers that our model has identified with a higher probability to win than that implied by the sportsbook odds.
We'll also highlight any standout prop and placement bets for these golfers if we find any appealing value hidden in the Dimers golf predictions.
Matt Kuchar to Win (+4000 on DraftKings)
The 47-year-old veteran is riding one of his best fall stretches in years, posting finishes of T13, T18, and T11 across his last three starts.
Ranked 15th in putting and 36th in driving accuracy, Kuchar’s consistency and elite short game make him a dangerous contender on a course that rewards precision.
Sitting 110th in the FedExCup standings, he’s motivated to crack the top 100 without using his career exemption, and with our model giving him a 5.5% win probability (fair odds closer to +1700), Kuchar looks like one of the best value plays on the board.
He holds an edge from Top 20 all the way through an outright win, making him a prime ladder play for this weekend.
Nico Echavarria to Win (+3000 on DraftKings)
Echavarria has quietly become one of the TOUR’s steadiest performers this fall, finishing 9th and T14 in his last two starts after a strong T38 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
Ranked 8th in putting and 48th in driving accuracy, he’s perfectly suited to handle Port Royal’s coastal conditions.
Currently 62nd in the FedExCup, a top-35 finish could launch him into the Aon Next 10 for a boost next season, and with excellent course history (three-for-three made cuts at Port Royal), Echavarria is trending toward another high finish.
His second-best 4.5% probability would make his fair odds at +2100.
Matti Schmid to Win (+3000 on BetMGM)
Schmid continues to flash upside, coming off a T8 finish after holding the 36-hole lead last week.
With five top-10s on the season, including a runner-up at the Charles Schwab Challenge, the young German thrives in windy setups and ranks 3rd on TOUR in approach shots from 200+ yards.
His putting (31st) and distance (25th) give him the tools to go low at Port Royal, where he finished solo 3rd two years ago.
At +3000, his form and course fit make him one of the week’s most appealing outright plays at close to fair odds.
Matt Wallace to Win (+3500 on DraftKings)
Wallace has mixed results this fall, missing a couple of cuts but also posting a T10 and T31 in recent weeks after finishing T3 and T27 to close the regular season.
While his ball-striking stats are middle-of-the-pack, he ranks 16th in scrambling, a key edge on Port Royal’s large, slower greens where creativity around the hole can save strokes.
His 3.4% win probability suggests his fair price should be closer to +2800, making Wallace a sneaky value option in a weaker field.
Andrew Putnam to Win (+11000 on DraftKings)
Putnam’s recent results don’t inspire much confidence with seven missed cuts and a withdrawal in his last nine starts since he peaked with a T6 at the Canadian Open and T8 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, but the underlying data tells a different story.
He still ranks 8th in Strokes Gained: Around the Green, 25th in Putting, and 36th on Approach, suggesting the talent is there for a rebound especially against a wide open field.
Coming off his best finish since June with a T40 last week, Putnam sits on the FedExCup Top 100 bubble and should be highly motivated.
At 1.1% win probability and fair odds closer to +9000, he’s a big value at +11000 and an intriguing play for a Top 20 finish if his short game clicks.

Beyond outright winners. there are a number of ways to utilize the Dimers' golf predictions to bet on PGA TOUR events.
Top 20 Parlay
Rather than betting on golfers to beat everyone else in the field, consider pairing some of Dimers' value bets or highest-projected finishers to all secure a Top 20 finish. Look for the market including ties to avoid any dead heat reduction.
Three golfers get at least a 45% probability of a Top 20 finish: Matt Kuchar (47.9%), Rico Hoey (45.5%) and Nico Echavarria (45.2%).
All three make a +1165 Top 20 parlay at DraftKings.
