I heard Betr launched as a social sportsbook and sweepstakes casino. However, I was more interested in what features were available and decided to write my Betr review to help new players find their way on the site.

In this review, I'll discuss what the Betr website feels like, its available payment methods, my customer support experience, and lots more. I'll also give you details on some promotions you can enjoy on the site, and you don't even need to enter any promo codes. Read on to see what this social sportsbook and sweepstakes casino has to offer.

What’s the Betr Welcome Offer?

Betr currently operates as a social sportsbook and sweepstakes casino in the US. Unlike in my Blitzmania review, I found that there’s no traditional no-purchase welcome offer available for new sweepstakes casino players. After a bit of research on the site, I discovered the only way to claim a bonus was by opting in for the site's pre-registration offer.

This offer, however, has expired. But it seems that players who claimed this bonus received 10 Betr Cash upon signing up and another 10 Betr Cash to play, for a total of 20 Betr Cash.

I also found a time-limited bonus for new sweepstakes casino players offering first-day insurance, which you can claim on your first Gold Coin pack purchase. This Betr bonus is valid on your net losses up to 100 Betr Cash. To qualify for this offer, you'll need to play casino-style games within 24 hours of your first Gold Coin bundle purchase.

Ongoing Promos for Existing Betr Players

During my time at Betr, I was very interested in whether there was another Betr bonus I could claim. Before downloading the app, I checked its promotions link on the homepage to see what was available. Here's what I found:

Social Media Promotions

I decided to check out Betr’s social media pages to see if there were any promotions available. Scrolling through its Instagram, I found a giveaway offering players a Polaris RZR. You can check out and follow Betr on X, Facebook, and Instagram so you don’t miss any of these updates.

Alternative Mode of Entry (AMOE)

One promotion I was happy to see at Betr was its alternative mode of entry (AMOE). All I had to do was send in a handwritten letter to Betr’s official address. My request was successful, and the site rewarded me with 3 Betr Cash.

To participate in this promotion, make sure your handwriting is legible. If you'd like more details on how to go about this offer, you can check out the site's rules page.

Betr’s VIP Program

During my time at Betr, I found a VIP program called Betr Ballers. To be part of this VIP program, you'll need to either be invited or qualify automatically. Automatic qualification at Betr may involve you playing a certain amount of Betr Cash each month on casino-style games. Exclusive perks you'll receive include priority support, weekly bonus drops, monthly rewards, and special promotions.

Make sure to play consistently, as your Betr VIP status is renewed each month.

A Quick Look at Betr’s Website Functionality

Unfortunately, you'll only be able to access Betr’s full features when you sign up for the app. Nevertheless, I'll still tell you about my experience with the Betr website.

The site features a nice dark background with purple and blue accents. At the top of the page, you'll find a banner showing offers for new players. Scrolling down the page, you'll see little details about its social sportsbook, sweepstakes casino, and arcade.

I also found a map of the USA highlighting areas where players can access Betr. The bottom of the page features links to its terms and conditions, payments, help center, promos and bonuses, responsible gaming, and arcade.

So far, the Betr website offers limited access. However, you can still get basic information from its website. The Betr site was quite easy to access, and I didn't experience any issues while loading pages on the site.

Is There a Betr App Available?

During my Betr review, I quickly discovered that Betr was available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. As I mentioned earlier, signing up on the mobile app is the only way to access the social sweepstakes sportsbook and casino.

However, the mobile app and the website share a similar interface, but you’ll definitely enjoy more features on the app. I tried a few games on the app, and I was really impressed by the graphics and the fact that there was no lag whatsoever.

Betr’s Casino-Style Games and Sports

Betr features a decent game library for its players. The sweepstakes casino’s lobby features casino-style games from top software developers like BGaming and 3 Oaks Gaming. You'll also find similar software providers in my CoinsBack Casino review. Game categories you'll find on the site include slots, live dealers, table games, and arcade games.

Some of my favorite titles to play during my review were Baccarat and Gravity Blackjack.

Heading to the social sportsbook, I found over 15 sports I could place social bets on. Sports I found included basketball, football, baseball, and even hockey. I was also able to place my social bets on multiple markets, including parlays, moneyline, and straight bets. Events you can try these on include the NHL, NBA, and NFL.

Reliable Payment Options at Betr

As a sweepstakes casino, payments aren't usually required to start playing casino-style games or accessing bonuses at Betr. However, if you decide to get an optional GC pack, the site offers a few reliable payment methods you can choose from.

These payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, and bank transfer. Keep in mind that you'll also need to complete your account verification before you'll be allowed to request Betr Cash redemptions. Account verification on the site may include submitting a few documents, such as a government-issued passport, proof of address, and your Social Security Number (SSN).

Besides account verification, other requirements you'll need to meet include playing through your eligible Betr Cash at least once. During my first BC redemption request, I found that the daily maximum limit was 10,000 Betr Cash.

Is There Customer Support at Betr?

I spent my time at Betr asking a lot of questions, so I thought to include a section on my experience with its customer support. At the moment, Betr offers email support as well as live chat, just like in my SweepKing review.

I clicked the Betr contact link at the bottom of the homepage and sent an email. After about 2 minutes, I received a reply from the site's automated assistant. It answered a few of my questions, and for the ones without answers, I could ask to speak to a support agent instead.

However, getting an email response from the support agent took a bit of time. Besides Betr’s email support, I also found a Help Center available. I was able to get a few answers on topics like payments, accounts, promotions, bonuses, and even responsible gaming.

Overall, I'd say customer support at Betr is available 24/7, and you'll get quick answers to most questions you might have.

Is Betr Legit?

Now I know, since Betr is new, you're probably a bit worried about the site's legitimacy. Well, that's what my articles are for: to help you with accurate information. I also did the same thing while writing my ThrillCoins review.

During my research, I saw that the Betr app is owned by Betr Holdings Inc, which operates fully under sweepstakes laws in the US. As per Betr’s terms and conditions, only players residing in the US aged 18 or older can register, download the app, and access its features.

Even though Betr is currently legal in the US, there are still a few states where the site can’t be accessed. Restricted states include Arizona, Montana, Nevada, Washington, Louisiana, New Jersey, Michigan, Connecticut, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Utah, California, Tennessee, Delaware, New York, Maryland, Maine, and West Virginia.

On the matter of safety, Betr uses SSL encryption to ensure your data is secure from third-party access. The site also provides tools to help you manage your play. This is because most times, it's quite easy to get carried away while claiming bonuses or playing casino-style games.

These tools include deposit limits on optional GC pack purchases, a time limit to monitor how long you spend gaming, and even self-exclusion. You can use self-exclusion if you prefer a longer break from the site.

Conclusion – Betr Offers a Decent Sweepstakes Casino and Social Sportsbook Experience

After spending a lot of time at Betr, I can say that the app definitely brings something unique to the table. Unfortunately, the site doesn't currently offer a traditional no-purchase welcome offer to its new players. However, there are still a bunch of promotions to check out as an existing social sportsbook and sweepstakes casino player.

These promotions include a mail-in request, social media giveaways, and even a VIP program. Betr also offers some reliable payment options, including debit/credit cards and bank transfers. Even though you won't be able to sign up without the app, the site is still very useful, providing basic information and links to help you get started.

Personally, I found customer support at Betr really great, offering 24/7 support via email, live chat, and a comprehensive FAQ section. You can also enjoy table games, slots, and social live dealers, all from top software providers. Sports you can place your social bets on include football, baseball, and hockey on multiple markets as well.
