Dimers has launched a brand-new player props model for the 2026 college football season.

More teams. More games. More college football props.

That's how Dimers is kicking off the 2026 college football season, with an upgraded college football player props model, rebuilt and expanded to generate prop picks across the FBS, giving bettors access to more players, more college football predictions, and more markets than ever before.

Dimers' new CFB player props betting model

Behind every pick, the model runs 20,000 simulations to calculate the probability of each outcome and identify where it sees value in the market. That simulation-based approach, unique to how Dimers builds its college football player props, is now paired with broader coverage and a faster, more responsive engine.

We recently launched a new WNBA player props model midseason to resounding success, returning over 40 units across our for first 200+ bets.

Here's what to expect for college football heading into 2026.

Player props for every FBS team

Previously, Dimers' CFB props coverage was limited to Top 25 and power-conference teams. This season, that coverage is expected to expand to all FBS teams, roughly doubling the number of programs covered.

That means everything from Group of 5 matchups to marquee Saturday showdowns gets the same treatment from the model. Availability of props still depend on the relevant player markets and projections being available for a given matchup, so coverage will vary by game and by week, but the pool of teams and players the model can work from is significantly larger than in past seasons.

Fewer gaps within each College Football slate

Dimers has also improved how it matches players across its different data sources, which means fewer players slip through the cracks when the model builds out a slate. In practical terms, that translates to more games each week producing a fuller set of player props, rather than partial coverage for certain matchups.

Variability modeled on actual College Football

College football is more unpredictable than the NFL, with bigger blowouts and wider swings in individual player performance from week to week. Dimers' model now draws on game-by-game player data from across the entire FBS to better reflect how players in different roles and situations actually perform, not just how a typical NFL player might.

That college-specific approach to variability is central to how the model separates realistic outcomes from noise when it runs its simulations.

A faster CFB engine, refreshed more often

The simulation engine itself has been rebuilt to run an entire weekly slate in seconds rather than minutes. That speed means Dimers can refresh its CFB player props more often throughout the week as projections, depth charts, lineups, and prices change, keeping picks closer to the latest available information.

What the College Football player props model covers

Dimers' college football player props model covers 11 markets across passing, rushing, receiving, and touchdowns:

CategoryMarkets
PassingPassing Yards · Passing Attempts · Passing Completions
RushingRushing Yards · Rushing Attempts
ReceivingReceiving Yards · Receptions
TouchdownsAnytime TD · First TD · 2+ TDs · 3+ TDs

Props are generated where the relevant player markets and projections are available, so not every player or every game will have a full slate of props each week.

How the CFB props model works

1. Simulate the game 20,000 times  - Each game is simulated 20,000 times, with every simulation starting from the current spread and total. That keeps the game script grounded in realistic market expectations rather than letting any single simulation run away from what oddsmakers expect.

2. Project every player - Players start from independent expert projections that account for factors such as depth charts, injuries, and expected roles. The model then layers in college-specific variability based on how comparable FBS players have actually performed in similar situations.

3. Keep everything connected - Player outcomes move together with the simulated game script rather than being treated in isolation. A blowout can produce different rushing and passing volume than a close game, and touchdowns are allocated within each team's simulated scoring rather than modeled independently for each player.

4. Find value against the odds - A player's prop probability is simply the percentage of the 20,000 simulations in which that outcome occurred. The model compares those probabilities against available sportsbook prices to identify where it sees value relative to the odds.

5. Filter and refresh - Not every edge becomes a pick. Props need to clear set thresholds before they're surfaced, while unusually large edges are filtered out to guard against stale or incorrect data. The model re-runs throughout the week as projections, lineups, and prices change, so picks reflect the latest information available.

Why trust the Dimers model for college football prop betting?

Built on actual college football data - Player variability is based on game-by-game data from across the FBS, reflecting how college players actually perform from week to week — not simply scaled-down NFL assumptions.

Grounded in market expectations - Every simulation starts from the current spread and total for the game.

Outcomes move together - Player volume, scoring, and game script stay connected rather than being modeled independently of one another.

Built to know when not to bet -  Picks need to clear set thresholds, and suspiciously large edges are filtered out rather than published.

Kept current - The model refreshes throughout the week as projections, lineups, and prices change.
