Two players destined to find the endzone in College Football Week 1

There is no shortage of touchdown props to bet on during college football's first full Saturday in Week 1, with over 100 players getting an edge to score across over 80 college football predictions on Dimers.

Out of all of those names, only Nick Marsh and Mario Craver boast an edge in all four touchdown markets: first touchdown, anytime touchdown, 2+ touchdowns and 3+ touchdowns, which is as strong a signal as our numbers can send when there's college football betting value on a player to find the end zone.

Both players are projected at better than 60% to score an anytime touchdown, and both play in offenses our simulations have averaging 48 points a game across all simulated results.

Beyond that, both matchups are also favored to go over the total in our simulations: Indiana-North Texas hits the over in 52.2% of sims, while Texas A&M-Missouri State clears its number in 56.1%, meaning the model expects both games to be one-sided and high-scoring, the exact kind of environment that tends to produce multi-touchdown performances.

Nick Marsh is the highest-probability touchdown scorer in this game at 70.0% to find the end zone, and bet365 has him priced at -145 for an anytime score, good for a 10.8% edge and a "High Edge" tag from the model.

He's also worth a look further up the ladder at various sportsbooks. DraftKings offers +360 on 2+ touchdowns (30.9% probability, 9.2% edge), and there are meaningful edges on his 3+ and first touchdown props as well

Marsh arrives at Indiana as a transfer from Michigan State, where he scored three touchdowns as a freshman and six in his second season, a trajectory pointing up right as he lands in a Hoosiers offense with big expectations.

He's now paired with transfer quarterback Josh Hoover, who arrives from TCU after throwing 56 touchdown passes across his two seasons there. Between a quarterback with that track record throwing to a receiver who's already shown scoring upside, it's easy to see the appealing value.

Mario Craver's anytime touchdown number isn't quite as high of a probability, but it comes with even better value.

At 62.1% to score, he's priced at +105 on bet365 for a 13.4% edge, the single largest edge of any prop on between these two players. The rest of the ladder pays out well if he gets rolling: +650 for 2+ touchdowns (23.2%, 9.9% edge) is our next-highest value, with a 15.5% probability to score first and 5.5% for 3+ touchdowns also getting an edge at their best odds.

Craver joined Texas A&M after a 2024 season at Mississippi State in which he scored three touchdowns, then found the end zone four times in his first year with the Aggies.

It was a tale of two seasons for Craver; all four scores came in his first three games of the season, after which he went the rest of the year without a touchdown.

That kind of early-season burst is worth watching for again as he opens this season fresh, especially with the model projecting a blowout against Missouri State.
