NFL Week 7 betting recap: Where the Dimers model dominated and why it pays to follow
Find out where the Dimers model won big in Week 7 of the NFL, from underdogs to longshot touchdowns and more.

Week 7 of NFL betting is in the books, which means it's time to take a look at where the Dimers model was most dialed in this weekend.
If you were leaning on our NFL predictions from the Dimers model, you'd have caught several of these outcomes coming from a mile away, all sourced from our exclusive Dimers Pro insights.
THE DROUGHT HAS BEEN BROKEN.

Dimers Pro remains the top betting resource in your pocket this NFL season, and when paired with the Dimers App, you'll keep finding these kinds of edges week in and week out.
Let's see where the Dimers model was most dialed in from this weekend's slate.
Dimers' spreads stay hot with a 9-5 week
Once again, the spread predictions from our model deliver.
We started off with winners on TNF and the Paris game, before picking up another 3 in the 1PM slate. We went 4-5 the rest of the way, but that's good enough for a 56% hit rate on the week.
You can check every game's spread prediction at closing and our model's projected final score in our NFL Game Predictions; just change to Week 7 in the dropdown menu and click through each game.
How do we determine our model's pick on the spread?
We check each NFL game prediction, and wherever our model favors a side above 50% against the spread, or finds value on a team at the closing number, that's our pick.
In games where the Dimers model predicted a 50/50 split, we check our predicted final score for the tiebreaker, as it will always land on one side of the spread.
Notable model picks that cashed this week included the Cowboys, Bengals, and Packers, all covering behind Dimers' numbers.
Dimers' top call-outs
It's rarely a chalk week betting on the NFL, and Week 7 was no different, with these performances backing up the numbers we had on the board and covered as favorable betting angles via our best NFL bets and best NFL player props.
Drake London breaks the streak
We called out Drake London's fascinatingly unique situation, where he ranked at the top of the league in a number of receiving categories yet entered Week 7 without a touchdown.
The setup against the 49ers was perfect, and it resulted in the first TD of the season for London.
Trey McBride cashes some top TE value
The TE position was under a microscope on National Tight Ends Day, and when we ranked every TE1's chances to score, Trey McBride led our second tier of scorers.
He was one of just two players in our ranking with an edge to score, delivering his 4th TD of the year and his best receiving game so far with 111 yards.
Tucker Kraft capitalizes on Lions matchup
No defense in the NFL has allowed more production to the TE position than Detroit Lions, and that's why we featured Tucker Kraft in our top players to watch in Week 7.
His receiving performance was modest with 4 catches for 48 yards, but he made it count with a touchdown, just his second of the year.
What the Dimers model said about these standout performances
Some of the biggest player and team performances of the week - here's what our model predicted around those outcomes and where you might have found an edge in our NFL player projections:
Giants, Dolphins upsets
The Dolphins picked up their first win of the season over their AFC East rival, the Jets, while the Giants beat Houston as 10.5-point underdogs in JJ McCarthy's first start as the Giants QB.
We had an edge on the Dolphins at a 38.1% win probability against their best odds of +180.
The Giants didn't have much value, but we had them at 52.7% to cover the biggest spread of the week, and fair odds on their moneyline.
Our best bet in that game was the Over 42.5, cashing in OT behind our model's Sweet Spot pick.
Both of these plays would have been found in our Best NFL Bets for Dimers Pro users.
The multi-touchdown stars
Overlooked on TE day, one of the least likely players to score twice across the whole slate was Rams TE Davis Allen.
He had just a 0.4% chance to score a pair of touchdowns on a season-high 5 targets.
On the other side of the spectrum, it was CeeDee Lamb, the 7th-most likely WR in our NFL Player Projections to score a pair of touchdowns, his second such game of the season, moving him into third-place all-time for multi-touchdown games by a Cowboys WR.
Where we missed in Week 7
Our NFL Best Bets video was heading towards another solid week, but came up two points shy of the Over in Niners-Falcons, and we were completely wrong on the Chiefs spread, after they managed just 3 points on SNF.
We cashed 2 of our TE Round Robins picks, but came up shy of a x3 cash with the wrong Steelers TE finding the end zone, and the ripple effect of the Chiefs' flat performance keeping Travis Kelce out of the end zone.
Not every prediction will be a winner, but if you trust the data long-term and rely on statistical decisions, you're more likely to find success over time.
