Thursday Night Football on prediction markets — Falcons at Packers (8:15 p.m. ET, Prime Video)

The Week 3 opener is the most-traded game on the board. Kalshi has taken $857,670 on Falcons–Packers and Polymarket has $318,960, and the two exchanges agree on the price almost exactly: Green Bay at 72% and 72¢. Dimers’ model has the Packers at 70.9% and −5.5, within a point and a half of both. Atlanta arrives 0-2 after a 34–3 loss to the Panthers; Green Bay is 1-1 after beating the Jets 20–17. The 43.5-point total is among the lowest of the week.

Sunday, September 27 — Dimers predictions for every NFL Week 3 game

Fourteen games run on Sunday and one on Monday, and every one of them is a live market on Polymarket and Kalshi. The table below pairs Dimers’ model on each matchup with what the market is charging for the same outcome, so the disagreements are visible in a single row.

Last week the market was pricing favorites higher than Dimers’ model in 10 of 16 games. This week the board is split exactly down the middle: eight games where the model is more confident than the exchanges, eight where the exchanges are more confident than the model. The widest single gap is Seahawks–Commanders, where Kalshi and Polymarket both have Seattle at 75% against the model’s 68.5%. That is the second week running the market has been more bullish on the Seahawks than Dimers — in Week 2 the exchanges had Seattle at 66% against 61.2%, and Seattle won 31–7. Running the other way, the model likes the Rams at 61.1% where Kalshi has 56%, the Giants at 62.8% where Kalshi has 58%, and the Vikings at 57.0% where Kalshi has 53%. Vikings–Buccaneers is the tightest market of the week at 53% against 47% on Kalshi, with a 1.5-point model spread. At the other end, the Chiefs at 81.9% on the model and 86% on both exchanges are the heaviest favorite of the week against an 0-2 Miami side priced at 15¢. Titans–Giants carries the lowest total of the week at 38.5 points; Ravens–Cowboys, played as a neutral-site game, carries the highest at 52.5. Sunday Night Football on prediction markets — Rams at Broncos (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC)

For the second week running, the Sunday night game is one of the quietest markets on the board and the one where the model and the exchanges disagree most. Kalshi has taken $72,863 on Rams–Broncos and Polymarket just $5,810, against a Dimers model that has Los Angeles at 61.1% where Kalshi has 56%. Both teams are 1-1: the Rams beat the Giants 28–6 on Monday night, the Broncos beat the Jaguars 20–13.

Monday Night Football on prediction markets — Eagles at Bears (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN/ABC)

The Monday game is the third-biggest market of the week. Kalshi has taken $466,287 on Eagles–Bears and Polymarket $71,270, with Philadelphia at 69% and 68¢ against a Dimers model of 65.3% and −4.5. The Eagles are the only 2-0 team on the Monday or Thursday board, having beaten the Commanders and the Titans by a combined six points; Chicago is 1-1 after scoring 59 against the Panthers in Week 1 and just three against the Vikings in Week 2. Polymarket has the spread split right down the middle, 51¢ on Philadelphia at −4.5 and 51¢ on Chicago at +4.5, with the 41.5-point total at 50¢ over and 52¢ under. How Week 2 finished — five favorites down, and an 11-5 model

Week 2 was the week the board turned over. Five favorites lost outright, four of them priced at 70% or higher, and every one of those underdog contracts settled at $1. The Browns, a 21¢ contract on Polymarket against a Tampa Bay side the market had at 79–80%, won 23–19. The Saints, at 21¢ and 22% against a Baltimore team priced at 79–80%, won 24–17. The Raiders, at 28¢ against a Chargers side at 73%, won 26–14. The Bengals, at 41–42¢ against a Houston team the market had at 59–60%, won 20–6. And the Vikings, at 35¢ against a Chicago team at 66% on both exchanges, won 9–3 — twelve combined points against a total of 48.5, the biggest under of the young season. Dimers’ model still finished 11-5 straight up across the 16 games on this page, and 8-8 against the model spread.
