NFL Week 6 betting recap: Where the Dimers model dominated and why it pays to follow
Find out where the Dimers model won big in Week 6 of the NFL, from underdogs to longshot touchdowns and more.

Week 6 of NFL betting is in the books, which means it's time to take a look at where the Dimers model was most dialed in this weekend.
Our brand-new Sweet Spots were the highlight of the week, debuting after registering a large enough sample size from our new model.
If you were leaning on our NFL predictions from the Dimers model, you'd have caught several of these outcomes coming from a mile away, all sourced from our exclusive Dimers Pro insights.
Being able to see where our prediction models beat the markets really is a cheat code. Multiple teams were identified as mis-priced on the moneyline in our simulations today and tagged with the Sweet Spot signal. Our Pro users took advantage đŸ”¥ https://t.co/0AqvGgKZCD

Dimers Pro remains the top betting resource in your pocket this NFL season, and when paired with the Dimers App, you'll keep finding these kinds of edges week in and week out.
Let's see where the Dimers model was most dialed in from this weekend's slate.
Dimers' spreads smash the slate again
Another dominant week from the Dimers model, going 10-4 on spreads based on our closing line prediction and predicted final score.
This writer is holding strong with a second-place standing in his pick 'ems league, thanks to our weekly spread predictions.
You can check every game's spread prediction at closing and our model's projected final score in our NFL Game Predictions; just change to Week 6 in the dropdown menu and click through each game.
How do we determine our model's pick on the spread?
We check each NFL game prediction, and wherever our model favors a side above 50% against the spread, or finds value on a team at the closing number, that's our pick.
In games where the Dimers model predicted a 50/50 split, we check our predicted final score for the tiebreaker, as it will always land on one side of the spread.
Notable model picks that cashed this week included the Saints, Packers and Panthers, all covering short spreads behind Dimers' numbers.
Sweet spots get even sweeter
After debuting ahead of Week 6, our model's Sweet Spots, the precise edge ranges where we have seen the most positive ROI, delivered when put to the test.
Moneyline picks were returning a 33% ROI in our identfied edge range, and that's climbed to 39.0% after a good week.
Totals didn't have a sweet spot heading into Week 6, but left the weekend with a 38.7% ROI now registered on the season, meaning we had a great week with Over/Under picks.
Spreads saw the Sweet Spot ROI go down by about 3%, but on the season, still a profitable 8.6% ROI.

Dimers' top call-outs
It's rarely a chalk week betting on the NFL, and Week 6 was no different, with these performances backing up the numbers we had on the board and covered as favorable betting angles via our best NFL bets and best NFL player props.
NFL Best Bets show goes 2-1
Nearly a sweep if not for a 44-yard touchdown pass in the waning minutes of Bills-Raiders to kill the -4.5 play on Buffalo.
But, the Packers cruise by the Cowboys on SNF and the Steelers get it done in a gritty comeback vs. the Buccaneers.
Stay tuned for Week 7 on the Dimers YouTube channel!
Maybe next time, Marv
Sometimes the best play is not making a play at all.
Marvin Harrison Jr. was the most-bet player to score a touchdown by total wagers on Sunday, per BetMGM.
He was at +425 odds, a sizable longshot, but based on our model's projection of 13.9% to score, he wasn't long enough.
Fair odds for the recent trade piece would have been closer to +630, showing you that sometimes Dimers Pro's power lies in knowing when to fade a major narrative rather than lean into it.
What the Dimers model said about these standout performances
Some of the biggest player and team performances of the week - here's what our model predicted around those outcomes and where you might have found an edge in our NFL player projections:
The multi-touchdown stars
Three players from Dimers' Top 10 touchdown probabilities scored a pair of TDs: Ken Walker, D'Andre Swift and Christian McCaffrey.
All three sat between 20-28% for a multi-score day, and McCaffrey was the highest of the bunch at 28.0%, securing his first multi-touchdown game since Week 1.
Where we missed in Week 6
Our Top 5 TD scorers saw just 3 of them get in the endzone, despite being the first time all season that every player featured was over 60% to score. We were mostly victimized by game script, with Bijan Robinson and Kyren Williams failing to score in games where their offense could not establish the running game. well enough.
We had awful luck on our SNF SGP, with CeeDee Lamb falling 10 yards short, catching 9 of 18 targets, and Christian Watson dropping a touchdown in the end zone. The reads were right, but the players didn't deliver.
Not every prediction will be a winner, but if you trust the data long-term and rely on statistical decisions, you're more likely to find success over time.
