Why Kyren Williams and Chase Brown are our top NFL rushing props for Week 8
Check out two players the Dimers model says will clear their rushing lines (and then some) on NFL Sunday in Week 8.

Rushing props keep producing some of the biggest edges in the Dimers NFL player props this season, and two Week 8 running backs stand out in our NFL player projections as ladder targets.
Rams RB Kyren Williams and Bengals RB Chase Brown both project notably above their rushing yards lines in the Dimers NFL predictions model for Week 8.
One is coming off his team's most run-heavy game of the season, and the other has a history of turning slow starts into big second halves.
If you're unfamiliar, a prop ladder is when you back a player to hit several yardage marks in one game, such as 50+, 60+, 70+ and so on, with bigger payouts at longer odds the higher he climbs.
The best ladder targets combine volume, a vulnerable defense and Dimers projections that point above the market. Both of these players check all three boxes.
Kyren Williams (Rams)
Game: Chargers vs. Rams
Dimers projects Williams for 73.6 rushing yards, well clear of his line of 58.5, and gives him a 64.3% probability to go over at -114 on FanDuel.
That's an 11.0% edge, and the prop lands in our rushing "Sweet Spot," which is returning a 25.1% ROI this season on bets over a 10% edge.
The ladder, which he cashed for us once before this season, starts right at his line, with 60+ rushing yards at -108. From there, 70+ comes in at +152, just under our projection, while 80+ is +230, 90+ is +360 and 100+ is +550 for those chasing a bigger payout. Williams has three 80+ yard games and was 1 yard shy of 100 last week.
The main question for Williams is workload. Blake Corum has been seeing more of the backfield, but Williams has still been the better and more efficient back all season, with two lost fumbles the only real blemish.
Dimers projects Corum for 47.5 rushing yards, a fair bit behind Williams, but the bigger signal is how the Rams are playing without Davante Adams: in their first game without him, they ran 35 designed rushing plays, by far their most of the season. Even though Corum outouched Williams 17 to 16, Williams put up 6 more yards with a better YPC at 6.2.
The matchup and game script should help, even if Corum gets another healthy share. The Chargers rank 18th against the run, allowing 743 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns, allowing two 120+ yard games, and Dimers gives the Rams a 74.4% win probability. If they can control the game script, then a run-heavy approach should get Williams over his mark and more.
Chase Brown (Bengals)
Game: Titans vs. Bengals
Dimers projects Brown for 62.1 rushing yards against a line of 51.5, with a 59.3% probability to go over at -110 on DraftKings (6.9% edge)., and he gets a correlated prop on volume that backs it up, with a 58.3% chance to top 13.5 rushing attempts at -106 (6.8% edge), a prop that also sits in our Sweet Spot at a 17.1% ROI.
The ladder lines up well with that projection. 50+ rushing yards comes in at -165, 60+ is plus money at +120, just under our projection, and 70+ is +210. For a longer shot, 80+ pays +350, a mark he's reached once in his last five games, but he hit it three times in the second half last year, and that might be key for Brown the rest of the way.
It's been another slow start for the Bengals RB1, with just 285 rushing yards and one touchdown. But slow starts are nothing new for him.
At this point last season, he had two games with 50+ rushing yards, then added six more the rest of the way. In 2024, he had three such games at this point, and seven more after it. Roles have changed and the matchups are different, but Week 8 has effectively split each of his past two seasons into two very different stretches of production.
The Titans rank 26th against the run, allowing 918 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns. Dimers gives Cincinnati an 84.0% win probability, the highest of the week, as a 10.5-point favorite and projects a 28-16 win at, a game script that should keep the ball in Brown's hands early, often and late in the game.
