NCAAF predictions and college football picks today: 2026-27 NCAA football computer picks

NCAA Division I football is built different. With more than 130 teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) alone, every Saturday consists of dozens of games. That’s a lot of research when you’re looking for the best college football picks.

The tricky part is, you don’t want to miss quality bets, and you also don’t want to chase picks impulsively.

Dimers cuts through that chaos with a systematic approach to betting. Rather than relying on opinion or intuition, we combine advanced data analysis with machine learning to produce moneyline, spread, and over/under NCAAF predictions and picks you can use to evaluate each matchup.

Each matchup includes:

  • Spread pick
  • Over/under pick
  • Moneyline pick
  • Predicted final score

Our college football picks cover every stage of the season, from Week 0 through conference championships, bowl games, and the College Football Playoff.

As new information becomes available during the week, our model updates its forecasts so our college football predictions today reflect the latest available team information, quarterback expectations, and betting market data.

What college football picks and NCAAF predictions do we provide?

Dimers provides college football predictions across the three most popular NCAA football betting markets. For every game, our model calculates the probability of each outcome, helping you compare those chances against the displayed odds and identify potential value.

NCAAF Moneyline Picks

The moneyline is the simplest college football betting market—you’re picking the outright winner of the game, regardless of the final score or winning margin. Our model estimates each team’s chances of winning and compares those probabilities with the displayed odds.

NCAAF Spread Picks

Spread betting involves predicting whether a team will cover the bookmaker’s point spread rather than simply win the game. Our model projects the expected winning margin and calculates each team’s probability of covering the spread, helping you spot potential value when the market may have mispriced a matchup.

NCAAF Total Picks (Over/Under)

Total betting is based on whether the combined score finishes over or under the sportsbook’s projected total. Using projected scoring for both teams, our model estimates the likelihood of the game finishing over or under the line.

Every Dimers NCAAF prediction is paired with displayed odds, so you can compare our model’s probabilities with the market price before making a betting decision.

How to use our college football picks and NCAAF predictions for sharper betting

Our college football picks are designed to help you evaluate every game quickly and confidently. Follow these steps to compare our model’s forecasts with the displayed odds and identify potential value before placing your bets.

  • Pick a matchup: Browse the table above to find the week’s college football games. Each matchup displays our moneyline prediction by default.
  • Toggle betting markets: Open the game predictions tab and switch between the moneyline, point spread, and over/under markets to view our pre-game probabilities for each.
  • Check the pre-game probabilities: Every college football prediction includes a percentage out of 100, giving you a clear picture of how likely our model believes each outcome is.
  • Compare probabilities against the price: Look for situations where our predicted probability is higher than what the odds imply. These discrepancies may highlight value betting opportunities where the market could be underestimating a team’s chances.

Using our NCAA football picks can help you make more informed betting decisions throughout the season.

Remember that no prediction is guaranteed, but combining data-driven college football predictions with disciplined bankroll management can help you make more informed decisions over the long term.

How Dimers generates our college football picks and NCAAF predictions

Every college football prediction on Dimers is powered by our in-house machine-learning model. For the 2026-27 season, we rebuilt the model from the ground up using a newer and more relevant training dataset, with the goal of making our NCAAF picks better reflect the way college football looks today.

Trained on current college football

The current model is trained on data from 2020 through 2025. The training data also excludes input from before the major 2023 college football rule changes. That gives the current model a more relevant foundation for generating 2026-27 college football picks and predictions.

A fresh model built for 2026-27

This isn’t simply the old model being run again with new data. For 2026-27, we’ve retrained a fresh model designed around the current college football environment.

That distinction matters because college football changes constantly. Teams, coaches, players, transfer patterns, rules, and the broader competitive environment all evolve, so a model built several seasons ago can become less representative over time.

Built in-house for greater control

Our college football model is built internally at Dimers. That gives us 100% control over how the model is developed, evaluated, and improved. It also allows us to build out explainability capabilities so we can better understand why the model makes particular predictions.

Spread picks and win probabilities come from the same projection

Our spread projection and win probability come from the same underlying game projection, creating a more consistent relationship between our college football picks across betting markets.

Probabilities are built for modern college football

Rather than relying on older, static push charts, our college football model accounts for the point values and scoring environment of modern college football.

That means our college football predictions are better aligned with the way points are actually scored and how current NCAAF betting markets behave.

Quarterback form feeds directly into the projection

Quarterback performance and form feed directly into the game projection. This allows our college football picks to account for the expected starting quarterback rather than simply relying on what happened in a team’s previous game or two.

That distinction is particularly important in college football, where starting quarterback changes can have a significant impact on a team’s expected performance.

What factors does the college football model consider?

The model incorporates a range of team, player, matchup, and game information when generating each projection, including:

  • Recent form: Team and player performance is weighted toward more recent games, helping the model account for how teams are playing now.
  • Power ratings: Dynamic ratings help quantify overall team strength and account for the quality of opposition and home-field advantage.
  • Strength of schedule: Team statistics are adjusted based on the caliber of each opponent, helping prevent performances against weaker competition from being overvalued.
  • Quarterback play and form: Quarterback performance is incorporated directly into the projection, including the expected starting quarterback for the matchup.
  • Advanced team metrics: Offensive and defensive performance, scoring production, pace, and other predictive metrics contribute to each projection.
  • Performance against market expectations: The model considers how teams perform relative to betting lines to help identify situations where the market may be overvaluing or undervaluing a team.
  • Official game information: Matchups, venues, scheduling, and other game-specific information are incorporated into the prediction.

Once a game is projected, the model uses that projection to calculate the expected margin, expected total, and win probability. Those outputs are then used to generate the corresponding spread, total, and moneyline probabilities.

The entire prediction pipeline refreshes throughout the week as team information and market prices change. That means our college football picks and NCAAF predictions can reflect new information rather than remaining static from the initial release.

The same machine-learning model also powers our College Football Best Bets and College Football Parlays, helping bettors evaluate potential opportunities across the college football betting market.

Your Questions Answered

How accurate are your college football computer predictions?

Our system is designed to identify long-term betting value rather than simply picking winners. Every prediction is generated from statistical modelling and machine learning instead of subjective opinion. While no betting model can predict every result correctly, our approach is built to provide consistent, data-driven insights throughout the season.
